Service Consultation
A structured intake consultation for clients seeking one of the firm’s defined legal services.
Who This Consultation Is For
This consultation is appropriate for individuals seeking a specific defined legal service, including:
- Business formation (LLC or corporation)
- Business succession planning
- Uncontested probate matters
- Estate planning services
- Name changes
- Record clearing (expunctions or sealing)
- Agreed divorce or cooperative agreements
- Select misdemeanors (non-trial resolution focus)
If your matter involves broader strategic considerations, uncertainty, or ownership complexity, a Strategic Outcome Session may be the more appropriate starting point.
What Happens During the Consultation
During your Service Consultation, we will:
- Confirm the service you are seeking and basic eligibility
- Review relevant background information
- Clarify scope, timing, and expectations
- Discuss whether the matter is appropriate for acceptance
- Outline the next steps if representation is offered
This consultation centers on alignment and defined scope. It is not a strategic advisory session.
For business formation or succession matters involving multiple owners, material assets, or family dynamics, beginning with a Strategic Outcome Session may be recommended.
Consultation Fee
Service Consultations are $395 and scheduled for up to 45 minutes.
This fee compensates for intake review and evaluation of service fit.
If your matter is accepted and you choose to proceed, the consultation fee may be credited toward the flat fee for that specific service.
Scope of This Consultation
- Defined service alignment and eligibility review
- No strategic leverage analysis
- No litigation evaluation or contested matters
- No emergency filings or time-sensitive intervention
- No document drafting during the meeting
If your matter requires broader strategy or early positioning, a Strategic Outcome Session is typically the appropriate starting point.
Practice Focus
This practice concentrates on cooperative, well-defined matters that can be handled without ongoing litigation or emergency court intervention.
Matters requiring contested litigation, emergency relief, or extended court involvement are typically referred to litigation-focused counsel.
Next Step — Brief Intake
Please complete the intake form below and indicate the service you are seeking. Once reviewed for alignment, you will receive a scheduling link for your Service Consultation.
Please submit one intake per matter. If multiple services are needed, note that in the form so the appropriate starting point can be confirmed.
Fee & Billing Philosophy
I operate a flat-fee-forward law practice whenever possible. This ensures you know the cost before the work begins.
- Flat fees apply to clearly defined scopes of work
- Court costs and filing fees are separate
- If work expands beyond the agreed scope, hourly billing applies with your approval
- No surprise invoices or open-ended retainers
