Defined Legal Services

Defined services are execution — offered selectively for matters that are clear, cooperative, and suited for structured completion.

A note on fit

These services work best when the path forward is relatively clear and the parties are prepared to proceed in good faith. If you’re weighing options, facing uncertainty, or want to understand risk before taking action, begin with Strategic Advisory.

How to Begin

If you’re not sure how to proceed, weighing competing options, making ownership or transition decisions, or simply want clarity before taking action, the Strategic Outcome Session is the right starting point.

If you already know the service you need and your matter is cooperative and well-defined, you may request a Service Consultation.

For business formation and succession matters involving multiple owners, family dynamics, or meaningful assets, a Strategic Outcome Session is strongly recommended.

Matters Not Accepted

To maintain a limited caseload and protect client experience, I do not take the following types of cases:

  • Litigation or courtroom battles
  • Contested divorce
  • Custody disputes
  • CPS or DFPS involvement
  • TROs or emergency hearings
  • Felony criminal defense
  • Trials of any kind
  • High-conflict or emotionally escalated situations

If your matter involves conflict, dispute, or ongoing court involvement, I am not the right attorney for your needs.

Fee & Billing Philosophy

I operate a flat-fee-forward law practice whenever possible. This ensures you know the cost before the work begins.

  • Flat fees apply to clearly defined scopes of work
  • Court costs and filing fees are separate
  • If work expands beyond the agreed scope, hourly billing applies with your approval
  • No surprise invoices or open-ended retainers
